Clemson Tigers are the 2017 CFB Champions breaking a 34 season drought!! Clemson Tigers pulled off an emotional and nail-biting win with 1 lonely second left on the clock. The Tigers finish the game with an onside kick that they recover and ultimately run out the clock with a quick knee.
Coach Dabo Swinney and his courageous Tigers led by DeShaun Watson were behind the entire game until the 4th Quarter. Clutch players in the game were of course DeShaun Watson (QB), Hunter Renfrow (WR) and Ben Boulware (LB). Hunter Renfrow caught 2 TDs including the game-winning TD. Ben Boulware was an absolute monster on defense making great plays, anticipating Bama’s all-to-predictable offense and firing up his team like all great Defensive Leaders.
DeShaun Watson was as cool as ice. Rough start as Bama’s front defensive line is not known for leaving gaps, but Watson got into the zone in the second half when it mattered the most. He ran the ball, his fakes were masterful and his passing was spot on.
Congrats to the Clemson Tigers! Congrats to the Crimson Tide who fought hard but literally came up short. Nick Saben was a class act and will continue to go down in history as one of the greats of College Football.
